Description
This empty enclosure accepts standard switches and sockets, allowing you to install whatever type you like in an outdoor environment, or one in which the protection provided by the IP66 range is required.
The factory fitted soft gel seal fits snugly around power cables to maintain the IP66 rating in use with the lid fully closed - ensuring total protection from dust and protection against powerful water jets.
Another clever feature of this outdoor socket is a lockable lid. A fixing point allows a padlock to be fitted to the enclosure to prevent unauthorised use.
