The Manrose Commercial Range now includes both surface wall and ceiling mounted models, available in 150mm (6"), 230mm (9"), and 300mm (12") sizes. This range of Spigot Fans features a slimline profile—measuring just 66mm deep on the 150mm model and up to 81mm on the 300mm version—making them ideal for installations where space is limited. Each fan is designed for easy connection to ducting and comes in a soft neutral grey finish, suitable for a wide range of commercial and public sector applications.
As with the window-mounted counterparts, the internal louvre design incorporates protective shutters that safeguard against vandalism. The series combines the latest ventilation technology with a modern, stylish appearance, offering impressive extract rates: 278m³/hr (77 L/s) for the 150mm model, 668m³/hr (185 L/s) for the 230mm model, and 1100m³/hr (306 L/s) for the 300mm model. These performance levels make the range efficient and reliable for demanding environments.
All fans in this range are constructed from high-impact ABS thermoplastic, providing both strength and durability while maintaining an attractive, easy-to-clean surface. The material is recyclable, supporting environmental sustainability. The 230mm and 300mm models are powered by 4-pole single-phase induction motors with pre-oiled bearings for a long, maintenance-free life, while the 150mm version uses a shaded pole motor with ball bearings. The fans are double insulated and require no earth connection, but installation must comply with current IEE wiring regulations. A double-pole isolating switch with at least 3mm contact separation on all poles and a 3-amp fuse must be used. For safety, the fan should be mounted at least 1.8m above the floor and positioned so it cannot be accessed by anyone using a bath or shower.
